Vimesh Bhana aka Dj Vimo

Started djing while travelling overseas in early 1995. Learned his skills in a small record shop in Soho London. He was taught by house legend J.P ( John Paul). a year later he found himself dj’ing in all the popular bars and lounges in and around London. In late 1998 he returned back home to South Africa and within 3-4 months got his first residency. He played at the commercial clubs for the 1st 2 years then moved on to the more underground scene in P.E. Since then he has held residencies in the biggest clubs and head lined the biggest parties in and around P.E. In April this year he was the 1st P.E dj to release a mixed compilation disk called “The deeper sound of Vimo“, which was released by U.S.M records a division of the Sheer music group.  His style of music can be called Deep to Phat electro grooves.
